Academic Handbook

About the Academic Handbook

The Academic Handbook of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Udayana, serves as the official reference for students, lecturers, administrative staff, and study-program management in conducting academic activities. It is intended to ensure that educational processes are orderly, transparent, consistent, and aligned with Universitas Udayana regulations.

The Handbook covers the Faculty’s profile and governance, academic system, curriculum, learning process, study load, academic supervision, assessment, examinations, study-progress evaluation, graduation, academic ethics, learning facilities, information systems, student services, registration, tuition, and academic administration.

The provisions apply to Diploma, Undergraduate, Master’s, Doctoral, and Professional Programs within the Faculty of Economics and Business. Certain requirements, grading scales, study periods, and graduation predicates differ according to the level and characteristics of each academic program.

Purpose of the Handbook

The Academic Handbook aims to:

  • provide clear information on academic rights, obligations, and procedures;

  • guide students in planning and completing their studies;

  • ensure consistency in learning and assessment practices;

  • support timely and high-quality study completion;

  • uphold academic integrity, accountability, and a responsible academic culture.

  • Study progress and completion.
    This section explains the standard and maximum study periods, study-progress evaluation, graduation requirements, graduation predicates, joint graduation, and termination of study.
  • Academic ethics and integrity.
    The Handbook requires all members of the academic community to maintain academic honesty and prohibits plagiarism, cheating, data falsification, document forgery, and other forms of academic misconduct.
