Oase Unud

OASE (Online Academic Service for E-learning) is an online learning platform provided by Udayana University designed to support asynchronous teaching and learning activities for both students and faculty. As a Learning Management System (LMS), OASE allows students, including those in the Accounting Education Program (PPAk), to access a wide range of course materials, assignments, quizzes, and discussion forums flexibly anytime and from any device via a web browser.

Through OASE, lecturers can upload lecture materials such as PDF documents, presentations, and videos, as well as assign and manage quizzes and assignments that are integrated with students’ academic activities. PPAk students can download course resources, complete assignments digitally, engage in discussion forums, and monitor grades and feedback from lecturers in real time. Features like quizzes, task assessments, and discussion forums enhance student engagement and deepen understanding of course content.

OASE is integrated with Udayana University’s academic identity system (IMISSU), allowing both students and lecturers to log in using the same Udayana OAuth2 credentials used across campus systems. This platform serves as the backbone of digital education at Unud, supporting technology-based learning and streamlining effective class management.

Features of OASE Udayana University

OASE (Online Academic Service for E-learning) is the official Learning Management System (LMS) of Udayana University that provides comprehensive online learning features to support teaching and learning activities, including for students of the Professional Accounting Education Program (PPAk). The main features of OASE include:

1. Course Management

Lecturers can create and manage online classes according to the assigned courses. Each course is systematically organized by topics or weekly sessions, enabling PPAk students to follow the learning process in a structured manner.

2. Learning Material Upload and Access

OASE allows lecturers to upload various learning resources, such as:

  • Modules or handouts (PDF)

  • Presentation slides (PPT)

  • Learning videos

  • External reference links

Students can access and download these materials anytime to support independent learning.

3. Assignments

The assignment feature enables lecturers to provide individual or group tasks with specific deadlines. PPAk students can submit their work digitally, while lecturers can assess and provide feedback directly through the system.

4. Online Quizzes and Exams

OASE supports the creation of online quizzes and examinations using multiple question formats, including multiple choice, true/false, and essay questions. This feature facilitates objective and well-documented assessment of student learning outcomes.

5. Discussion Forums

Discussion forums allow asynchronous interaction between lecturers and students to discuss course materials, case studies, and professional accounting issues. This feature promotes collaborative learning and critical thinking skills among PPAk students.

6. Grading and Score Management

OASE provides an integrated grading system where lecturers can record and manage scores from assignments, quizzes, and other learning activities. Students can transparently monitor their academic performance.

7. Attendance and Learning Activity Tracking

Student activities—such as accessing materials, submitting assignments, and completing quizzes—are recorded in the system and can be used to monitor participation and engagement.

8. Academic Account Integration

OASE is integrated with Udayana University’s academic identity system (IMISSU), allowing students and lecturers to log in using a single official university account, ensuring data security and academic integrity.
