D3 Accounting Guest Lecture 2025: Facing Audit Challenges in the Digital Era & ACCA Certification Socialization
The D3 Accounting Study Program at FEB Unud successfully held the 2025 Guest Lecture themed “Facing Audit Challenges in the Digital Era and ACCA Certification Socialization.”
The event took place at the Doctoral Hall, BM Building, 3rd Floor, FEB Unud Denpasar Campus, on Friday, October 10, 2025. It was officially opened by Mr. I Ketut Jati, S.E., M.Si., Ak., and attended by students and lecturers within the Faculty of Economics and Business at Udayana University.
The first session was delivered by Mr. Manish Gidwani, CEO & Founder of the London School of Accountancy and Finance (LSAF). He emphasized the importance of utilizing AI, Machine Learning, Blockchain, and Big Data in increasing the efficiency and transparency of the audit process in the digital era.
The second session was then filled by Ms. Julia Simatupang, Country Manager & Chief Representative of ACCA Indonesia. She explained the benefits of ACCA certification as a global-scale professional accounting recognition that can open international career opportunities for accounting students.
The series of activities concluded with the presentation of certificates to the speakers as a form of appreciation for the knowledge shared, followed by a joint photo session. This event provided a valuable experience for students, especially from the D3 Accounting Study Program, to expand their knowledge and prepare themselves to face the challenges of the constantly evolving digital professional world.
